Information Technology (IT) Lecturer

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Information Technology Lecturer to join the academic team at NCBA&E, Front Lane Campus, Lahore. The successful candidate will have a solid technical background, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching and student development. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality instruction in IT subjects, creating an engaging learning atmosphere, and supporting students in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities
Delivering engaging lectures in Information Technology and related fields is a primary duty. The lecturer will prepare detailed lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, and course materials to ensure comprehensive coverage of topics. Core subjects include IT fundamentals, networking, database management, and information systems. The role also involves guiding students through practical applications, projects, and assignments to promote hands-on learning. Assessments such as quizzes, assignments, and exams must be conducted to monitor student progress. Maintaining accurate academic records and ensuring timely completion of course outlines is essential. Providing academic guidance and support to students to aid their educational development is expected. Additionally, active participation in departmental meetings, academic activities, and university events is required. The lecturer will also contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of academic programs.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold an MS or MPhil degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A strong understanding of IT concepts, systems, and applications is necessary. Knowledge in networking, database management, information systems, and emerging technologies is essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills are required to effectively engage students and deliver content.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Prior teaching experience is preferred and will be considered an advantage. Relevant industry experience is also beneficial, providing practical insights to enrich the learning experience. This is a full-time, in-person position based at the NCBA&E Front Lane Campus in Lahore. The salary range for this role is Rs60,000 to Rs80,000 per month.
