Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for IT and network-related hardware, software, and services, including vendor identification, request for quotations, evaluation, and selection.
- Collaborate closely with IT, network, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with organizational needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement records, and track deliveries to guarantee timely availability of equipment.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives by analyzing procurement data and recommending process improvements.
- Optimize procurement processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve timelines.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors to foster strong working relationships.

Required Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Information Technology with a solid understanding of common IT and telecom infrastructure components.
- Knowledge of Network Administration and Network Security principles relevant to sourcing network equipment and services.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting concepts to assess technical specifications and evaluate product suitability.
- Experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to analyze quotations, compare technical and commercial offers, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent customer service skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement requests simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of working within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems and proficiency in basic MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
