Key Responsibilities
The Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure in an on-site capacity at the Lahore facility. This full-time role involves managing network systems, monitoring their performance, and ensuring consistent and reliable connectivity across both manufacturing and office environments. The specialist will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Additional duties include implementing and maintaining security measures to protect IT assets, assisting with system upgrades and new deployments, and providing technical support to internal users. The role requires documenting solutions and troubleshooting steps, coordinating with external vendors and service providers, and contributing to ongoing IT process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within the organization.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have strong skills in Information Technology and troubleshooting, with the ability to support a range of hardware, software, and operating systems. Proficiency in network administration and network security is essential to effectively manage, monitor, and safeguard local and wide area networks. Excellent customer service skills are necessary to deliver clear, patient, and timely technical support to internal stakeholders.
Experience working with Windows and/or Linux environments, including servers and network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, is highly beneficial.
