Information Technology Specialist

GRP Engineers & Consultants, located in DHA Phase 2, Lahore, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist / IT Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support, including managing computer systems, networking, printers, and CCTV camera systems. This role involves ensuring smooth IT operations and providing technical assistance to office staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for computers, laptops, and office IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and related software.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and overall network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and printing systems.
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, email, and network-related issues.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and technical documentation.
- Perform routine system maintenance, data backups, and basic network security tasks.
- Deliver day-to-day technical support to office staff to ensure uninterrupted IT services.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience working with printers, scanners, and CCTV camera systems.
- Understanding of routers, switches, LAN, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA will be considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in IT support or networking is preferred.
