We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join our team onsite in Islamabad, Gulberg Green. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our in-house bare-metal servers, Linux infrastructure, networking, access control, and blockchain infrastructure. This role demands hands-on experience with physical servers, network configurations, and blockchain node deployments, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain physical/bare-metal and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee IP management, including IP mappings, ports, routing, DNS, NAT, VLANs, and overall network connectivity.
- Administer SSH access, including key management, user permissions, sudo/root privileges, and server access controls.
- Configure and maintain firewalls and VPNs to safeguard network security.
- Ensure server security protocols and access controls are consistently enforced.
- Deploy and maintain blockchain infrastructure such as Bitcoin and Bitcoin-fork nodes, EVM nodes, RPCs, blockchain services, databases, and backend systems.
- Manage Docker and other containerized services to support scalable deployments.
- Monitor system resources including CPU, RAM, storage, network traffic, and service health.
- Handle backups, disaster recovery plans, software updates, patches, and routine server maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, network connectivity, storage, and infrastructure components.
- Maintain accurate documentation covering servers, IP addresses, ports, services, and access permissions.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux and system administration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and port management.
- Proficient in SSH and Linux access management, including key and user permission administration.
- Experience working with bare-metal servers and managing production infrastructure environments.
- Practical knowledge of Docker and containerized service management.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and backup solutions.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with a strong security mindset to protect infrastructure integrity.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with blockchain infrastructure, particularly with Bitcoin, Bitcoin forks, or Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) nodes, is highly preferred.
- Competitive salary range of PKR 100,000 to 150,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
