Provide effective and timely responses to technology and application issues that arise in support of user requests. Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components. Monitor the performance, reliability and capacity of company application servers and execute appropriate changes as needed. Perform common administration tasks on critical server, network and peripheral equipment, ensuring industry standard configurations and security models. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and processes Manage data backups and disaster recovery operations Manage IT inventory purchasing & coordination with vendor Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion prevention systems. Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, Smartphone’s, software deployment, security updates and patches. Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and/or data communications networks Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware. Managing & working on open source technologies (Centos, Debian & Ubuntu etc) Manage & maintain organization database servers. Manages the usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks. Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards. Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance. Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned. Configure, manage & maintain virtualization infrastructure. (ESXI, VMware etc) Managing & monitoring stash, jira & confluence servers
