  • Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency and ensure quality production.
  • Set up CNC machines including tooling, offsets, and machine parameters to ensure accurate machining processes.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Generate and verify tool paths through simulation and testing to avoid collisions and ensure optimal machining.
  • Troubleshoot programming and equipment issues, implementing adjustments to improve machining outcomes.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve program accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain precise documentation and revision control of CNC programs to ensure traceability and consistency.
  • Assist machine operators with setups, tooling changes, and program-related questions to support smooth production runs.
  • Optimize CNC programs continuously to reduce cycle time, extend tool life, and improve machining efficiency.
  • Ensure all machined parts meet required quality, dimensional specifications, and safety standards.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols, quality systems, and production schedules consistently.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to CNC machining and programming processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by production or engineering management.
