- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the company’s products.
- Assess and determine the appropriate next steps for each customer inquiry.

- Manage customer inquiries throughout the sales process, ensuring smooth progression.
- Prepare accurate quotes and successfully close orders.
- Address customer questions and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Take full ownership of sales opportunities from initial inquiry to closing.
Lead Follow-Up:
- Maintain and nurture long-term leads through consistent, proactive communication.
- Keep sales opportunities moving forward with timely follow-ups.
- Recognize when additional team support or escalation is required.
Team Leadership & Delegation:
- Coach and mentor a two-person sales/customer service support team on effective customer communication.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to optimize team productivity.
- Help the team stay organized and responsive to customer needs.
Post-Sale Coordination:
- Oversee the post-sale process, including shipping coordination.
- Assist in resolving any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers after the sale is completed.

- Comfortable spending up to 50% of the workday on the phone.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in sales, customer support, and managing a small team is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
- No formal education or specific experience requirements.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience or familiarity with public safety training or firearms industry products is a plus but not required.
- The ideal candidate takes full ownership of the sales process rather than focusing on isolated tasks.
- Confidence in handling sales conversations and persistence in managing long-term leads are essential.
- Enjoyment in coaching and supporting a small team in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable making independent decisions and solving unexpected problems in a high-autonomy setting.
- Proactive mindset with an interest in contributing to the growth and shaping of the company beyond routine tasks.
