We are seeking a skilled Installation Fitter with 1 to 5 years of experience to join our NI Operation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing elevator components, including guide rails, motors, and control systems, while ensuring all work complies with design specifications and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read technical drawings, and excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively. The candidate will also interact with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with the completed installations and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install elevator components such as guide rails, motors, and control systems, including wiring and electrical work, strictly following design specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of equipment to ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety standards and building codes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately and maintain detailed service reports.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the completed work.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of relevant experience in installation and maintenance of elevator or similar mechanical and electrical systems.
- Educational qualification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or equivalent technical training.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and building codes related to elevator installation and repair.
- Ability to perform electrical wiring and mechanical assembly tasks with precision.
