We are seeking a skilled Installation Fitter with 1 to 5 years of experience to join our NI Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, preferably with an ITI qualification, and be proficient in assembling and installing elevator components. This role involves working closely with mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and building codes. The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of reading technical drawings, and possess strong troubleshooting skills. Effective communication with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install elevator components such as guide rails, motors, and control systems, including wiring and electrical work, following design specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of equipment to ensure all installations and repairs adhere to strict safety standards and building codes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately to guide installation and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain detailed service reports and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of relevant experience in installation and maintenance.
- ITI certification or equivalent technical qualification.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to elevator installation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and building codes applicable to elevator systems.
