Instructor – Electrical

The Electrical Instructor will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering well-structured electrical training programs to students. This role involves designing and implementing effective curricula, conducting laboratory activities, and assessing student performance. The instructor will teach the principles and techniques of the electrical trade in a safe and effective manner, ensuring students are trained in the proper use of materials and tools. Maintaining a productive and secure learning environment is essential, along with supporting students’ overall development to prepare them for local and international industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize, and deliver clear and comprehensive electrical instruction to students.
- Demonstrate and explain the use of tools and materials relevant to the electrical trade.
- Plan, assign, and evaluate students’ progress on electrical projects.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of classrooms, laboratories, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant student information.
- Stay updated with advances in electrical technology and industry practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum, teaching methodologies, and instructional materials.
- Supervise classes to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Prepare and review formative assessments and examination papers.
- Participate in staff development programs and professional organizations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic tasks to enhance teaching and learning standards.
- Monitor and report student attendance regularly.
- Support students’ grooming, communication, etiquette, and personal development.
- Maintain organized instructor documentation as per institutional guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with the institute’s code of conduct and policies.
- Provide assistance to faculty and administrative staff as needed.
- Actively participate in admission campaigns and other organizational activities.
- Assist in strategic planning and the introduction of new trades or courses.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Engage in outdoor activities or tasks assigned by management.
- Employ innovative teaching techniques to create challenging learning opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback to support student academic growth.
- Refer students who are not making adequate progress to supervisors.
- Attend faculty meetings to evaluate student progress and develop improvement strategies.
- Complete summative evaluations highlighting student strengths and areas for improvement.
- Oversee all electrical maintenance within the institute.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, B-Tech, DAE, or equivalent from a reputable university.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience; prior teaching experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent classroom management abilities.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in the electrical trade.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Full-time position based on-site.
