The Insurance Agent role at STATE LIFE is a full-time position based in Karachi, offering a hybrid work model with some flexibility to work from home. The agent will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial objectives and recommend appropriate life insurance products. Daily responsibilities include presenting product options, preparing quotations, managing policy applications, and following up on leads. Maintaining strong relationships with policyholders, addressing inquiries promptly, and providing excellent customer service are essential components of the role. Key Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective and current clients to assess their financial goals and recommend suitable insurance plans.
- Present and explain various life insurance products clearly and effectively.
- Prepare accurate quotations and assist clients with policy applications.
- Follow up on leads to convert prospects into policyholders.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide high-quality customer service.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Stay informed about industry developments and company updates to provide accurate information to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in insurance sales with the ability to ethically match products to client needs and close policies.
- Knowledge of insurance brokerage and finance to clearly explain coverage options, premiums, and long-term financial impacts.
- Excellent customer service abilities, including active listening, clear communication, and professional client support.
- Proficiency in relationship building, negotiation, and basic computer literacy, including CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment, and consistently meet performance targets.
- Proficiency in English and local languages is preferred.
- Commitment to strong ethical standards and awareness of regulatory compliance.
