Insurance Associate (Mandarin Speaking)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive bilingual Mandarin-speaking Insurance Associate to support the daily operations of a US-based insurance agency. This role involves managing commercial insurance quoting, policy renewals, health insurance administration, client support for Mandarin-speaking customers, and general office administration. It is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can efficiently handle multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with US insurance agencies, strong organizational skills, fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin, and the ability to independently manage policy renewals, client communications, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete ACORD applications for Workers' Compensation and general commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
- Upload underwriting packets to carrier portals or directly to underwriters, followed by daily status updates.
- Monitor the QQCatalyst alert dashboard for accounts expiring within 60 to 90 days.
- Manage and update employee censuses for group health insurance prospects and renewals.
- Run health insurance quote comparisons across various carrier portals.
- Handle bilingual phone inquiries in English and Mandarin.
- Collect new client information and organize structured client files.
- Review incoming forms for completeness and accuracy.
- Track renewal dates and issue renewal notices promptly.
- Collect updated client information and file revised forms accordingly.
- Proactively follow up on pending documents and client signatures.
- Maintain accurate QQCatalyst data hygiene, including profiles, documents, effective dates, and communication logs.
- Send automated renewal reminders and pursue missing underwriting information.
- Assist with renewal payment collection and setup of EFT/ACH payments.

Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting a US-based independent insurance agency, with hands-on experience in commercial quoting and policy renewals.
- Proficiency in Vertafore QQCatalyst system.
- Working knowledge of ACORD forms, loss runs, Excess & Surplus (E&S) compliance, cyber and professional liability supplements, and health census data.
