Parker Russell’s Lahore office is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to support a UAE-based project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all insurance-related activities across the company’s group. This includes maintaining an up-to-date insurance register, liaising with brokers for quotations and renewals, securing internal approvals, and ensuring timely issuance and maintenance of insurance policies and documentation. The role works closely with the Commercial Director to ensure all insurance requirements are handled efficiently, accurately, and within established deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Administration & Coordination: Maintain a comprehensive master register of all company insurance policies, detailing policy types, coverage, insured assets, policy periods, premium amounts, renewal dates, insurers, and brokers. Monitor policy expiry dates and coordinate renewals to avoid coverage gaps. Engage with insurance brokers and insurers to obtain quotations, renewal terms, and necessary documentation. Prepare comparative summaries and analyses of quotations for management review.
Internal Coordination & Approvals: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather required information and documentation for insurance placements and renewals. Follow up to secure management approvals in accordance with company approval matrices and procedures. Ensure all insurance matters are processed within stipulated timelines.
Procurement & Policy Issuance: Work alongside procurement and finance teams to raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs). Track and ensure timely payment of insurance premiums. Coordinate with brokers and insurers to guarantee accurate and prompt issuance of policies, endorsements, certificates, and other related documents. Maintain organized electronic filing of all insurance-related records.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare periodic insurance status reports, renewal trackers, and summaries for the Commercial Director and management. Support audit activities by providing required insurance documentation and records. Ensure adherence to company procedures and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, or a related discipline. Certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute is essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in insurance coordination, insurance administration, finance support, or a similar role. Prior experience working with insurance brokers and managing corporate insurance renewals is highly desirable. Experience in an offshore or shared services support environment will be considered an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational and administrative abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple insurance renewals and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is necessary. The ability to work independently in a remote or offshore support setting is important.
