Insurance Verification Specialist

PsychPlus is seeking a skilled Insurance Verification Specialist to join its growing Revenue Cycle Management team based in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time, onsite position supports U.S. mental and behavioral health operations by ensuring accurate insurance eligibility and benefits verification. The role requires working Monday to Friday from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM and offers a competitive salary of up to PKR 100,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience with CollaborateMD and a strong background in insurance verification within the Mental Health, Behavioral Health, or Psychiatry specialties. Key Responsibilities

- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage for scheduled and active services.
- Review insurance benefits, including deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket responsibilities.
- Confirm behavioral and mental health benefits according to patient plans.
- Identify prior authorization, referral, and other payer requirements.
- Communicate directly with insurance companies to confirm coverage and resolve verification issues.
- Accurately document eligibility and benefit information in CollaborateMD.
- Review patient demographic and insurance data for accuracy and completeness.
- Detect inactive, incorrect, or incomplete insurance information and take corrective action.
- Liaise with scheduling, billing, and clinical teams regarding insurance-related concerns.
- Follow up on pending verification requests and unresolved coverage matters.
- Maintain thorough verification records and supporting documentation.
- Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time goals.

Required Qualifications

- Recent, hands-on experience using CollaborateMD is mandatory.
- Proven experience in U.S. healthcare insurance verification is essential.
- Specialized experience verifying insurance for Mental Health, Behavioral Health, or Psychiatry services is required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. health insurance terminology and processes.
- Ability to verify eligibility, benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and patient financial responsibilities.
- Understanding of prior authorization and referral procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve insurance coverage discrepancies.
- Availability to work onsite in Lahore during the specified night shift.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with U.S. behavioral health or psychiatric practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with U.S. commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid plans.
- Knowledge of verifying benefits for outpatient behavioral health services.
- Understanding of CPT codes and payer-specific coverage requirements.
- Experience with other EMR, EHR, or practice management systems.
- Background in U.S. healthcare Revenue Cycle Management environments is a plus.
