Job Description:
- Apply persistent tenacity in working with sales to uncover client needs, outcomes, and impact
- Write clear, compelling concise, persuasive, and creative narrative copy, from a bulleted list or abstract ideas; copy includes but is not limited to executive summaries, proposed solutions, project team descriptions, and project schedules
- Manage proposal writing process and input from sales and stakeholders within the established proposal schedule
- Identify needed information from internal subject matter experts and organize responses from stakeholders
- Interface with marketing personnel to incorporate competitive landscape information into winning themes
- Work with graphic designers to create compelling visuals from abstract concepts
What We Are Looking For
- Education and Experience: Someone with the pure Background in Computer Science (Academically) and as a Software Developer (Technically/professionally)
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in proposal writing, editing and proofing, ideally from IT/Software industry. NOTE:- We would like to see one’s Proposal writing materials in order to consider the candidate for the position in question.
- Technical Skills: Experience with CRMs and Proposal Management Software. Exceptional Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communicator with exceptional writing, editing and proofing skills. Ability to synthesize complex information to be understood by others. Excellent customer service skills with ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Project Coordination: High level of time management and organizational skills with ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a high output environment under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility: Committed and accessible with ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines. Willing to use constructive feedback to make changes to proposals as needed.
