While structured IBM product training is provided, candidates should have strong integration and software fundamentals upon joining.
Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support secure file transfer flows including SFTP, FTPS, AS2, and HTTPS; manage partner onboarding and routing.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Support and enhance the web portal, including backend services, database management, and front-end fixes.
- Troubleshoot production issues across application, database, and network layers; perform root-cause analysis and document resolutions.
- Write unit and integration tests; manage deployments through development, testing, and production environments following change-management and security protocols.
- Develop AI-driven automation using LLM APIs, agents, and scripted workflows for monitoring, onboarding, and support tasks.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and handover notes.
- Participate in support rotations for client environments during US business hours.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on software development or integration experience.
- Strong understanding of system integrations including APIs, data flows, messaging, batch, and file-based exchanges.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs with knowledge of authentication, error handling, and versioning.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/Node.js.
- Solid working knowledge of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and expertise in data mapping and transformation.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Comfortable working on Linux systems, including shell scripting, file permissions, log analysis, and basic networking concepts (ports, DNS, firewalls, TLS).
- Experience with Git and foundational understanding of CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes.
- Basic web application development experience, either front-end or back-end.
- Interest in or experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
- Understanding of data security principles such as encryption in transit and at rest, key and certificate management, and access control.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on unfamiliar systems.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills, comfortable interacting directly with US-based clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
