We are looking for a Business Analyst to work in close coordination with our Technical & Business Development teams on a variety of products and bespoke solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide essential client focus, acting as the user representative (Product Owner) for our clients within the SCRUM project teams. You will work liaising closely with Technical & Business Development, often under pressure and to demanding project timescales.
Job Purpose:
To solve a current or future problem and to help facilitate a solution. Mainly to assist by working with stakeholders to define their business needs and extract their requirements for what must be delivered.
Essential Job Functions:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Performing requirements analysis
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
- Managing competing resources and priorities
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology
- Level of Experience: Specialist. Minimum 3 years of business analyst experience in a Web-based software development firm preferably in a fin-tech solutions provider.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong Understanding of SCRUM based Agile Software Development Practices is a must.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Advanced technical skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Able to work effectively in a team as well as independently
- Flexible and able to cope with the demands of high-pressured implementations.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Candidates having strong knowledge of Financial transaction systems will be preferred.
