The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing interior projects for residential and commercial spaces based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This full-time, on-site position requires regular client interaction to gather requirements and translate them into practical and visually engaging design concepts. Daily tasks include developing space plans, selecting finishes and furnishings, preparing mood boards and material boards, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely project delivery. The role also involves producing detailed drawings and technical documentation, supervising site work, and ensuring projects remain within budget and adhere to agreed timelines. Effective collaboration with the project team and clear communication with clients are essential to achieve consistent, high-quality design results.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive space plans and layout designs optimized for residential and commercial environments.
- Select appropriate finishes, furnishings, and materials that align with client needs and project goals.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, and 3D visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Produce accurate construction drawings and technical documentation for contractors and vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality execution of projects.
- Oversee site work to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to manage feedback and project updates.
- Collaborate closely with the wider project team to integrate design elements seamlessly.

Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to integrate aesthetics and functionality across diverse spaces.
- Proficiency in space planning, including layout optimization and circulation design for both residential and commercial projects.
- Experience in creating detailed construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong visual presentation skills, including the ability to create mood boards, material boards, and 3D visualizations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage feedback and expectations professionally.
- High attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
