Interior Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team on a project basis for an office interior design project. This role involves designing modern and functional office spaces, covering everything from concept development and space planning to material selection and supporting final execution. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, provided they have practical experience gained through internships, academic projects, or a strong design portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts and office layouts tailored to business and team needs.
- Plan functional office areas including workstations, cabins, meeting rooms, reception, and common spaces.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visuals, and presentations for management approval.
- Select and recommend materials, finishes, office furniture, lighting, and color schemes.
- Prepare detailed working drawings and design documentation for project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with plans.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Stay informed about current design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome but must have practical experience through internships, freelance work, or academic/professional projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools is essential.
- Strong understanding of office space planning, including workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, and breakout spaces.
- Knowledge of color schemes, materials, lighting, and furniture layouts relevant to office environments.
- A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand and translate client requirements effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with rendering tools such as V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or similar software.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Experience in preparing working drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material schedules.
- Exposure to site visits, vendor coordination, or project supervision.
- Prior experience designing office, corporate, or commercial interiors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ergonomic furniture, acoustics, and lighting suited to office environments.

The monthly salary for this project-based position ranges from PKR 50,000 to 70,000, depending on skills, experience, and portfolio quality. The work location is hybrid remote based in Lahore.
