Intern – Human Resources (HR)

The Hunar Foundation is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support its general HR operations, with a special focus on Talent Acquisition and Recruitment. This paid, full-time internship based in Karachi offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience across various HR functions while contributing to a meaningful social mission. The role involves working closely with the HR team to assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities, providing a comprehensive introduction to the field of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening CVs, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain and update candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and hiring records to ensure accurate and organized documentation.
- Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle to ensure a smooth process.
- Support onboarding activities by managing employee documentation and maintaining HR records.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and perform other HR operational tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree completed or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to organize and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- A keen eagerness to learn and develop hands-on experience across different HR functions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Previous internship or experience in recruitment is an advantage.
- This is a paid internship offering a monthly stipend between Rs10,000 and Rs15,000.
- The position requires full-time, in-person attendance at the Karachi office.
