Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern for Stations - Operation & Maintenance to support the efficient functioning of station operations and ensure the optimal performance of various systems and equipment. This role offers hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities while assisting in maintaining compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI). The intern will work under the guidance of Control Center Managers, gaining valuable exposure to real-world operational challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the operation and monitoring of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) including Automatic Fare Collection (AFC), Fare Gates, Passenger Information Displays (PIDs), Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), CCTV systems, and station electrification infrastructure.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance tasks under supervision to ensure uninterrupted station services.
- Observe and help diagnose faults and resolve incidents promptly at stations to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports related to maintenance and service activities to support operational transparency.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Required Qualifications

- Basic understanding of ITS systems and station electrification concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Educational background in Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience in operations, maintenance, or transport systems are encouraged to apply.
