Role Description The Intern at SMi Consultant (Study Abroad) will support daily office operations and student counseling activities in an on-site role based in Peshawar.

Responsibilities include assisting with student inquiries, helping prepare application documents, and maintaining accurate records of prospective students and their preferred study destinations. The intern will help coordinate appointments, support IELTS preparation and interview guidance sessions, and assist in managing social media or basic outreach tasks related to study abroad opportunities. This internship role also involves collaborating with the team to organize information sessions, updating databases, and ensuring timely communication with students and partner institutions.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students and partners.
Basic administrative and organizational skills, including document handling, data entry, and scheduling.
Interest in international education, study abroad processes, and student counseling.
Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and comfort using online research tools.
Ability to work on-site in Peshawar and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Good English language skills; familiarity with IELTS or other language tests is an advantage.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma in education, counseling, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and take initiative in assigned tasks.
