Internal Audit Manager - Hard Manufacturing

We are looking for a seasoned Internal Audit Manager to lead and enhance the internal audit function within a hard manufacturing environment based in Korangi, Karachi. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of professional experience, including mandatory prior experience in an audit firm. This role requires a Chartered Accountant (CA) who possesses strong team leadership abilities, expertise in audit planning, process development, and the capability to establish a structured internal audit framework. The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and driving improvements in compliance and governance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the internal audit team to ensure effective planning and execution of audit activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, policies, procedures, and a robust internal audit structure tailored to the manufacturing sector.
- Evaluate internal controls to identify operational and financial risks, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Establish standardized audit processes to enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and risk management.
- Conduct risk-based audits and ensure timely preparation and follow-up of audit reports.
- Collaborate closely with management and departmental heads to strengthen internal controls and corporate governance.

Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2-3 years in an audit firm environment.
- Proven experience in hard manufacturing industries such as pharmaceutical machinery, medicine manufacturing, steel, cement, plastic, construction, or cable manufacturing.
- Demonstrated expertise in team management, audit planning, audit process development, and building internal audit structures.
- Strong analytical skills combined with effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- The position is based in Korangi, Karachi, and requires the candidate to work on-site.
- The salary range for this role is between PKR 200,000 to PKR 250,000 per month. Candidates should be comfortable with this compensation range before applying.
