Internal Audit Officer (CA Finalist)

Zarea Limited, a leading B2B marketplace in Pakistan, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Officer (CA Finalist) to join their team in Lahore Cantt. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to the company’s mission of transforming procurement and supply chain operations through technology and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough financial and operational audits, evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance business processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial and operational audits in accordance with the audit plan.
- Review financial transactions, records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify any weaknesses.
- Assess financial, operational, and compliance-related risks within the organization.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Detect irregularities and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate key findings to management.
- Follow up on audit observations to ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
- Maintain comprehensive audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with relevant departments during audit assignments to facilitate smooth processes.

Required Qualifications:
- CA Finalist with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in internal audit or audit roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control frameworks.
- Proficient in risk assessment and compliance management.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, auditing, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation and Work Environment:
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from PKR 130,000 to PKR 150,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
