Internal Audit Officer

Zarea Limited, a leading B2B marketplace in Pakistan, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Officer to join their team in Lahore Cantt. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the company’s mission of transforming procurement and supply chain operations through technology and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough financial and operational audits, assessing internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance business processes. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial and operational audits in accordance with the audit plan.
- Review financial transactions, records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify any weaknesses.
- Assess risks related to financial, operational, and compliance areas.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Detect irregularities and suggest corrective measures to address them.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate key findings to management.
- Follow up on audit observations to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain detailed audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments during audit assignments to facilitate smooth processes.

Required Qualifications:
- CA Finalist with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in internal audit or audit functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control frameworks.
- Proficient in risk assessment and compliance monitoring.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, auditing, and problem-solving abilities.

Zarea Limited offers a competitive salary package ranging from PKR 130,000 to PKR 150,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
