We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial records, evaluating internal controls, and verifying compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves conducting thorough audits, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and supporting the management with insightful recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of records by evaluating internal controls and verifying compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for implementing new procedures or improving existing controls within the organization.
- Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhancement of operational performance.
- Conduct pre-audit reviews of various bills and payment forms to ensure accuracy before processing.
- Perform site audits according to the defined audit plan, ensuring thorough examination of operations.
- Maintain comprehensive audit workpapers and documentation to support audit findings.
- Participate actively in departmental training sessions to enhance audit skills and knowledge.
- Present audit results clearly and effectively to management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor to support the audit function.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Professional certification such as ICMA or ACCA is preferred.
- The position offers a competitive salary starting from Rs 95,000 per month.
- The role requires in-person attendance at the designated work location, providing hands-on involvement in audit activities.
