Pharmedic, a Lahore-based generic pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in oncology and essential medicines, is expanding its international footprint across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Committed to the principle of "Truth in Medicine," Pharmedic delivers high-quality products that improve patient access in emerging markets. The company is seeking an experienced International Business Development Manager to lead and grow its export business. This role offers direct reporting to the Managing Director and significant ownership of results, including opening new markets, building distributor networks, securing product registrations, and driving sustained export orders.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize export markets, developing clear entry plans for each.
- Appoint, contract, and manage distributors and agents; set annual targets and conduct performance reviews.
- Prepare commercial offers detailing export pricing, minimum order quantities, Incoterms (EXW, FCA, CIF), and payment terms such as advance payment and letters of credit.
- Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs team to drive product registrations, managing country dossier requirements, samples, stability data, and documentation including GMP and Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product (CoPP).
- Monitor the registration pipeline across all target countries.
- Pursue institutional and government tenders in key markets.
- Coordinate with production and supply chain teams on forecasts, lead times, and country-specific packaging and artwork requirements.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitor pricing, demand trends, and regulatory changes.
- Travel internationally to distributor markets and attend relevant exhibitions.
- Provide monthly reports on pipeline status, registrations, and export revenue directly to the Managing Director.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical exports or international business development, with direct responsibility for managing markets.
- Demonstrated success in opening new markets, securing product registrations, and growing export revenue, supported by measurable results.
- Working knowledge of CTD dossiers, WHO-GMP standards, CoPP documentation, Incoterms 2020, and letters of credit.
- Established distributor relationships within Asia, Africa, or the Middle East.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
