Lead Cyber Security Product Tester
What You Will Be Doing
As a Lead Software QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the QA team responsible for ensuring high-quality standards across our product suite
You will work closely with the IT Operations, Development, and Product teams, create test plans/cycles, and execute
This position requires an individual who is a team player, an excellent communicator, creative, data-driven and results-oriented
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of proven industry experience in software application and infrastructure testing
- Knowledge of how modern web/desktop/mobile/server apps are designed, developed, and deployed across different platforms
- development and execution of test plans, test designs, and test cases for functional tests
- extensive knowledge of client/server architecture and experience of testing client/server applications
- Knowledge in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- Experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Good understanding of network and OS principles
- Ability to code with Python or any other object-oriented language
- Strong interest in Information Security
- Excellent problem solving & reporting skills
- Ability to work in distributed/remote teams and deliver
- Ability to learn, unlearn and relearn quickly
- Desired Skills & Experience (Bonus Points)
- Experience with Linux (any *nix based distro)
- Strong concepts of cloud computing (knowledge of working with a public cloud [AWS/Azure/GCP] is a huge plus)
- Strong Concepts of Computer Networking & Operating Systems
- Understanding of SDLC and agile environments
- Familiarization with CI/CD & related DevOps tools (containers, Jenkins etc)
- Knowledge of cyber regulations and standards, including NIST 800-207, ISO 27001, and CSA standards
- Strong software development/test lifecycle understanding
KPIs:
- Lead a diverse QA team that performs functional, performance, integration, and automation testing
- Test application security and business logic security
- Deploy & Integrate distributed systems (on-prem/off-prem/cloud)
- Recommend risk mitigations
- Conduct Root Cause and Analysis
- Share best practices on product security
- Apply knowledge of industry cybersecurity engineering practices and international standards to produce secure solutions
