Min Exp Req:
- 10+ years overall IT experience with increasing responsibilities and technical diversity
- 5+ years working for a financial institution in a similar capacity and lead role
- 5+ years designing, evaluating, developing / implementing / delivering large complex IT solutions using Service Oriented Architectures in alignment with enterprise standards and technology blueprints
Eligibility/ Skills Req:
- Practical knowledge of application tier technologies, e.g. middleware, integration, and SOA technologies. Micro-services and ability to influence on transformational initiatives
- Excellent understanding of current IT trends, key solution providers and their impact on business strategies, Cloud technologies, Mobile applications, BI architecture, agile IT processes, usability architecture, front-end design, etc.
- Knowledge of Cloud architectures and trends would be a plus.
- Ability to effectively translate and present technology solutions in business or management terms.
Detailed key roles & responsibilities / JD:
- Develop and manage changes in application architecture across the enterprise and liaise with the Business, Solutions and SOA Architects to manage reusability of applications across the enterprise while keeping the enterprise wide business needs within the prevailing enterprise technical standards.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Establish the application architecture definition
- Develop and manage changes in application architecture across the enterprise
- Define IT application landscape with a focus on application rationalization
- Design application architecture that are solution specific in collaboration with the Solutions Architect while providing enterprise application reference architecture aligned with regulatory, technology and information security guidelines and standards.
- Liaise with the Business, Solutions and SOA Architects to manage reusability of applications across the enterprise
- Reviewing technology solutions being implemented for the bank while keeping intact the enterprise wide business needs within the prevailing enterprise technical standards.
- Manage changes to application architecture requirements
- Define the application Life cycle management policies and standards
- Manage retention, revision, and retirement of enterprise information
