International Freight Broker

RS BPO Services is seeking a dedicated International Freight Broker to join their team in the Karachi Division. This full-time, on-site position involves coordinating and managing international freight shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to negotiate rates, monitor shipments, resolve transit issues, and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and billing. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Arrange and coordinate international freight shipments, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers to optimize costs and service quality.
- Manage bookings and monitor shipment status, proactively addressing any issues during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance, billing, and reporting purposes.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
- Handle dispatch communications and provide timely updates and support throughout the shipping process.
- Collaborate with account management and customer service teams to support client needs and business growth.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in freight brokerage with a solid understanding of international shipping regulations and market rates.
- Strong customer service skills, capable of managing client inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Experience in dispatching, including coordinating with carriers and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Background in account management, with the ability to oversee client portfolios and negotiate terms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software, transportation management systems, and standard office productivity tools.
- Educational background in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
