Location: Peshawar (Frequent travelling to field locations (Jamrud, Bara & Landi Kotal Tehsils of Khyber tribal district & Mera Kachowri & Baghbanan areas of Peshawar)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To provide direct Ante natal care, Post-natal care and Growth monitoring. 

• Infection control and quality assurance of services provided in the Obs/Gyne department.

• To provide appropriate patient education.

• To identify and report immediately any problems that may interfere in achieving program objective.

• To have good knowledge of First Aid activities. 

• Follow up of patients and follow up of referral patients. 

• Link up with LHWs and build their capacities in regular on the job trainings. 

• Adhere to organization Code of Conduct and internationally accepted humanitarian principles.

• Act in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner towards other colleagues & community.

Emergency Response:

• Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibilities as and when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Experience & Qualifications  

• Diploma of LHV from Govt. recognized Medical Faculty institute. 

• Registered with Pakistan Nursing Council. 

• Basic understanding of and communication capacity in English, should know the national & regional languages (Urdu & Pashto).

• Khyber tribal district and Peshawar domicile holders will be preferred.
