Kaya Systems is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented interns to join its onsite team at Siddiq Trade Center, Gulberg II, Lahore. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting customer service and back-office operations for an international client based in the U.S. Interns will engage in customer communication, order processing, data management, and business reporting during a night shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The role provides practical training and exposure to real business workflows, with a monthly stipend ranging from PKR 30,000 to 50,000 based on performance. There is potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Call Handling: Professionally receive and manage incoming customer calls, make outbound calls for order clarifications and follow-ups, respond accurately to inquiries, document call details, and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team members. Maintain clear and courteous communication with customers and internal teams.
- Order Processing & Management: Accurately review and process customer orders, verify order details including quantities and product information, update order records in designated systems, monitor order status, and coordinate resolution of discrepancies or missing information. Maintain organized documentation for all orders.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and validate operational and sales data. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools. Track order activity and customer interactions, identify discrepancies, and assist in creating summaries, tables, and charts for management review.
- Administrative & Operational Support: Maintain accurate digital records, coordinate with team members to ensure timely handling of orders and customer requests, follow established procedures and quality standards, handle confidential client information responsibly, and assist with other back-office tasks related to the project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or Computer Science.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, especially for professional phone conversations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders, records, and reports.
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and making outbound calls.
- Willingness to learn order management systems, reporting processes, and new business tools.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Responsible attitude, professional conduct, and openness to feedback.
- Ability to work onsite in Gulberg II, Lahore, during the specified evening shift.
