A well-established sanitary brand is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory & Audit Controller to join their Islamabad office located in G-11 Markaz. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in inventory control and auditing, with strong ERP system knowledge. This full-time position operates from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering a monthly salary range of PKR 60,000 to 65,000. The role demands a proactive individual who can maintain accurate inventory records, conduct thorough audits, and ensure compliance with company policies to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control daily inventory movements, including stock receiving, issuance, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and comprehensive inventory audits to verify accuracy.
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP system data, investigating discrepancies such as shortages or excess stock.
- Prepare detailed stock reconciliation and audit reports for management review.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
- Verify warehouse documentation, delivery records, transfer notes, and other supporting documents.
- Oversee stock transfers between warehouses, branches, and showrooms to maintain consistency.
- Review and report on damaged, obsolete, slow-moving, and non-moving stock items.
- Maintain proper inventory control procedures and documentation to uphold audit standards.
- Conduct surprise stock checks as needed to identify potential issues.
- Identify weaknesses in inventory controls and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory SOPs and internal control procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with Warehouse, Accounts, Purchase, Sales, and Management departments.
- Review inventory-related transactions for accuracy, authorization, and compliance.
- Assist in monthly and annual stock closing activities, maintaining thorough audit records.
- Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or control violations promptly to management.
- Support management initiatives aimed at improving inventory accuracy and operational controls.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in Inventory Control, Stock Audit, or Internal Audit.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory operations.
- Proficient in ERP systems, particularly inventory modules.
- Good command of MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify inventory discrepancies and control weaknesses effectively.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work across multiple departments.
- Responsible, disciplined, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
