We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage and oversee the physical inventory of steel, sheets, bolts, welding materials, and other Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) related items. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock records, coordinating material flow, and maintaining efficient inventory processes to support production and project requirements. This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments to maintain seamless operations and uphold quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the physical inventory of steel, sheets, bolts, welding materials, and other PEB-related materials with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle all aspects of material receiving, including inspection, proper storage, issuance, and periodic stock counting.
- Maintain precise inventory records using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records regularly and investigate any discrepancies to prevent stock loss or errors.
- Monitor material consumption, scrap, wastage, and maintain project-wise stock tracking to optimize resource allocation.
- Coordinate effectively with Procurement, Production, and Finance departments to align inventory management with organizational needs.
- Ensure proper documentation, stock control procedures, and maintain store housekeeping to promote a safe and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE), Intermediate, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in inventory control, preferably within steel fabrication or the PEB industry.
- Proven expertise in physical inventory handling and managing inventory through ERP or similar system-based platforms.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs33,000 to Rs50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role requires the candidate to work on-site to ensure direct oversight and management of inventory processes.
