Inventory & Data Control Officer

Friends Food Export Co. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately managing inventory data, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring proper documentation and stock rotation. This role demands strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain efficient inventory control and support smooth operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry of inventory transactions, production records, stock receipts, and material issuance.
- Manage carton room inventory, including stock receiving, issuance, and reconciliation.
- Handle distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees and maintain individual issuance records.
- Monitor stock levels closely and report any shortages or replenishment needs promptly.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verifications and report discrepancies as necessary.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address inventory requirements and ensure smooth flow of materials.
- Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures for stock issuance and rotation.
- Monitor stock movement, expiry dates (where applicable), and storage conditions to uphold quality standards.
- Maintain accurate filing and organization of both physical and digital inventory records.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Intermediate qualification; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or data entry.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
