Investment Manager – Portfolio Management

Human Capital HR Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a prominent organization in the insurance sector for an experienced Investment Manager specializing in Portfolio Management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and analyzing a substantial investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is based in Lahore and requires on-site presence. The ideal professional will have a strong background in investment management with a proven track record of handling diverse asset classes and large-scale portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor investments across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and money market instruments.
- Manage and review investment portfolios to achieve optimal risk-adjusted returns.
- Conduct both fundamental and quantitative analyses to support investment decision-making.
- Evaluate market trends, identify investment opportunities, and assess portfolio risk exposure.
- Prepare detailed investment performance reports, portfolio valuations, and provide analytical insights.
- Support investment transactions while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Contribute to the oversight and analysis of an investment portfolio valued at approximately PKR 35 billion.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, asset management, treasury, or financial markets.
- Demonstrated experience managing or analyzing large investment portfolios, preferably around PKR 35 billion or more.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, fixed-income instruments, money markets, portfolio performance metrics, and risk-return analysis.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working within insurance companies, asset management firms, investment companies, mutual funds, or brokerage houses is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, ACCA, or other relevant qualifications will be considered an advantage.
