Join our Mobile Core Engineering team to develop mission-critical diagnostic applications and low-level iOS SDKs that power millions of devices worldwide. This role involves working closely with native hardware frameworks to create automated device test suites and translating complex technical requirements into efficient, modular Swift and Objective-C code. You will also be responsible for maintaining internal SDKs with a focus on type safety, backward compatibility, and robust data serialization, as well as building real-time socket communication between iOS devices and desktop diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automated device test suites that interface directly with native hardware components such as Battery, Ambient Light Sensors, Camera, Biometrics, LCD, and CoreNFC.
- Implement highly optimized and modular code in Swift and Objective-C based on detailed functional tickets, flowcharts, and pseudo-logic.
- Maintain and update internal SDK frameworks, ensuring strict type safety, backward compatibility, and reliable serialization/deserialization processes.
- Design and maintain real-time socket communication (TCP/WebSockets) between iOS devices and desktop diagnostic software to support seamless data exchange.
Required Qualifications
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong conceptual understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and advanced knowledge of iOS development principles.
- Deep familiarity with iOS memory management techniques, including Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) and retain cycles.
- Expertise in concurrency models such as Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and async/await patterns.
- Comprehensive understanding of UIKit and SwiftUI view lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Swift programming, including protocols, closures, and generics, combined with strong algorithmic thinking and knowledge of architectural design patterns like MVC and MVVM.
- Advanced experience with structured JSON parsing using Codable and solid command of Git version control workflows.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience or familiarity with iOS hardware and sensor frameworks such as CoreNFC, CoreMotion, and AVFoundation.
- Understanding of raw socket communication, client-server handshake protocols, and modular architecture tools like Swift Package Manager (SPM) and CocoaPods.
- Hands-on experience with profiling iOS applications and debugging memory leaks using Xcode Instruments.
