Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to implement and enhance website features.
- Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with customizing and extending WordPress themes and plugins.
- Knowledge of website optimization and performance improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) integration within WordPress.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and integrations.
- Understanding of server-side technologies and hosting environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in WordPress development (optional).
