Responsibilities:
- Lead game design efforts for the development of games from concept to release.
- Develop and communicate the creative vision for the game to the development team.
- Design the game's mechanics, story, levels, and other game elements to ensure a cohesive experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including art, programming, and production, to ensure the game meets design goals and quality standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and help them develop their skills.
- Conduct research on current and emerging video game trends and technologies, an integrate them into the game design when applicable.
- Use analytics data and player feedback to improve the game's design and features post release.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, game design, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in game design, with experience in lead game design roles.
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines and processes.
- Proficiency in game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
- Knowledge of various game design tools and software, including level editors and
- scripting languages.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
