Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to define and implement effective test strategies and plans.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Perform thorough functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure the quality and stability of software products.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Continuously improve the automation testing process by integrating new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing techniques and tools.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, and JMeter.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test script development would be a good plus.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) methodologies and tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI would be a good plus.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
