To provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the Islamic Aid Pakistan (IAP) programme.
The Executive Director has the overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and direction of IAP to achieve the organizational vision, mission and objectives. The ED is responsible for the programmatic and operational management of IAP. S/he represents IAP with government, local and international organisations and others. S/he will take a leading role in designing, developing, overseeing implementation, reviewing and monitoring of the programme and fundraising strategy and ensuring this in line with strategic directions and overall thematic focusof Islamic Aid. The ED is responsible for developing new programming initiatives, new partnerships and maintaining existing partnerships and actively lead key phases of ongoing programmes. The ED will be responsible to ensure cross learning and fertilisation of knowledge across the program in all areas of programming, national, regional and international policies and development issues. S/he is responsible to promote fundraising initiatives ensuring the smooth running of IAP and its sustainability. S/he is responsible for overall financial and human resources management.
