Reporting directly to Branch In Charge and main responsibility is the Provision of Sharia compliant microfinance products and services among target community. The role of client relationship Assistant (CRA) is undoubtedly critical to the maintenance of integrity within financial actions of IMFP.

Program Orientation, Client Selection and Management                                      

  • It involves extensive field work. Introduction and Orientation of the MFP in the designated area for fulfillment of the target.
  • Explain loan products, eligibility criteria, policy and procedures to potential customers.
  • Arrange and conduct interviews with applicants and carry out field visits for those who satisfy the preliminary assessment.
  • Check the creditworthiness of applicants and applicant’s collateral.
  • Evaluate applications on the basis of information submitted and compiled, and prepare recommendations for senior management.
  • Ensure that the loan is used for the purpose stated in loan application.
  • Identify need for technical and enterprise management trainings and provide business counseling to clients.

Policy Compliance and Data Management                                            

  • Ensure 100% compliance with existing policy and procedures of Islamic Microfinance Program.
  • Maintain proper files and record of client, ensure data privacy and prepare periodic reports as guided by senior management.

Portfolio Management                

  • Ensure recovery collection from clients as per agreed repayment schedule.
  • Maintain portfolio quality and performance indicators.
  • Implement zero tolerance strategy in case of non-payment, and make firm recovery follow up with delinquent/default clients.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Management.

It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with Islamic values and principles as well as commitment to Islamic Relief Worldwide vision, mission and core values.

Essential:

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree holder, preferably in Business studies/Economics/Commerce or relevant discipline.
  • Strong organization skills to every detail to ensure high quality in the work.
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience of, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, with command on written and spoken English in particular.
  • Ability to work with a range of senior managers, peers and junior colleagues and build smooth working relationships

Experience

  • Minimum 6 months experience in microfinance/marketing/sales/banking.
  • A good working knowledge of governmental and financial regulations and laws. These can include consumer regulations, State Bank regulations,
  • First hand working experience in the field and portfolio management.

  • Strong & confident communication skills which delivers information persuasively and with clarity in a wide range of situations.

Desirable:

  • Relevant experience of working with Microfinance /development sector/INGOs
  • Working knowledge of regional l languages of Pakistan.
