Background
Islamic Relief Pakistan (IRP), under its WASYLA Project, is seeking services of Enumerators for short-term, task-based, assessment of Right Holders under the project assignment in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In an assigned area, selected Enumerators will support the identification, assessment, and validation of project participants (beneficiaries/right-holders) in supervision of IRP project and MEAL teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Support in the identification and assessment of potential right holders using IRP-provided templates.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to record responses on paper-based forms.
• Enter collected information efficiently into Excel-based tools or other designated formats.
• Ensure information quality and completeness.
• Facilitate the validation process led by IRP’s MEAL department.
• Work closely with IRP project teams to achieve assigned daily and monthly targets.
Targets and Payment Structure
• Per Enumerator Target: 5 households per day; minimum 100 households per month.
• Payment Basis: PKR 1,000 per verified target (performance-based).
• Assignment Duration: One month (extendable based on project needs and performance).
• Enumerators are required to arrange their own laptop or computer, as well as their own transport (pick and drop) to and from the assigned field locations. Enumerators will also be responsible for their own lunch and food arrangements during field activities.
• IRP will provide orientation/training, necessary stationery, and payments as per the agreed targets and terms.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in field based assessments particularly in Poverty Graduation Projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in Excel base data entry tools.
• Capable of working efficiently as part of a team in short-duration, target-driven assignments.
