Job Purpose: The Senior Protection and inclusion officer leads on protection “Leave no one behind” and “Do no harm” agendas to be integrated into all programmes of the organization and ensures commitments towards Core Humanitarian Standards and inclusion Charter. The candidate must have the ability to forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders to meet the project’s objectives. He/ She will lead the protection & inclusion related activities in humanitarian response and development project at KP level under the supervision of Area program Manager KP by ensuring improved and effective delivery in both development and humanitarian/ emergency programs. Develop and maintain the coordination mechanism with concern stakeholders as well as weekly & monthly reports for CO/HQ and donors agencies.

Support the PR/Media team in the development of constructive working relationships with media representatives to build international and public profile and ensure positive coverage and the timely provision of situation reports and fundraising material to the headquarters.

Person Specification: It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its SEAH (sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. We have zero tolerance policy towards SEAH and doesn’t support any action that promote or encourage SEAH.
Qualification: University degree in one of the relevant areas – Sociology, International Law, Human Rights, Social Science, or Doctor of psychotherapy.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 07 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and preferably 05 years of relevant professional work experience in disability, disability inclusive MNCH, human rights issues, protection and/ or child protection and GBV. Working in emergency or conflict situations is an asset.
Language: Fluency in Pashtu, English and Urdu

Fluency in English (oral and written) including excellent writing skills, however command over Pashto and Urdu languages is desirable.
