Unity International School is looking for a committed Islamic Studies teacher to join its academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering the Islamic Studies curriculum from Grade 6 through to the O'Levels, ensuring students are well-prepared for both O'Level and Federal Board examinations. This role demands a passionate educator who can clearly communicate subject knowledge and create a positive, engaging learning environment that encourages student growth and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Islamic Studies to students starting from Grade 6, with a strong focus on preparing them for the O'Level curriculum.
- Design and continuously improve lesson plans that meet the standards of O'Level and Federal Board examinations.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve academic success.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff to foster a supportive and cohesive educational atmosphere.
- Inspire students by promoting a love for literature and encouraging critical thinking within the subject area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience with students in Grade 6 and above.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Islamic Studies specifically at the O'Level.
- Strong expertise in Islamic Studies and excellent command of the English language for effective communication.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for literature and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proven ability to work well in a team-oriented school environment.
Job Details
- Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
- Salary Range: Rs30,000 to Rs70,000 per month
- Work Location: On-site at Unity International School
