We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department and drive technology initiatives that align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our technology infrastructure, systems, and applications while managing a team of IT professionals. As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT budgets, ensuring data security and compliance, and staying updated on the latest technology trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's IT strategy to support business goals and objectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify technology needs, evaluate potential solutions, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in technology investments.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the company's operations.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and user experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and partners.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in IT management or leadership roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of current IT best practices and emerging technologies.
- Experience in strategic planning and budget management.
- Solid understanding of various design patterns and their application in building scalable and maintainable systems.
- Proven experience in defining and implementing software architecture strategies to support business objectives.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level software architecture concepts, including micro services, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and event-driven architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully leading teams through the development lifecycle.
- Experience in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools for IT projects.
- Strong leadership skills to build and motivate high-performing IT teams.
