Accounts Manager

Isuzu Ravi Motors is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to lead our accounting department. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations and manage a team to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong expertise in account reconciliation, general ledger management, and proficiency in ERP software systems such as SAP and Oracle Financials. The Accounts Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the company and supporting strategic business decisions with reliable financial data. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in commerce such as B.Com, M.Com or ACCA qualification, coupled with a minimum of three years’ experience in accounting or finance roles. A comprehensive understanding of sales tax, income tax, and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) standards is mandatory. This position demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a high-pressure environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities to maintain accurate financial records.
Manage and lead a team of 10 accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting management with insights into financial status and forecasting.
Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning and financial decision-making.
Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in financial accounts.
Ensure compliance with taxation laws, sales tax, income tax regulations, and PRA guidelines by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and implementing necessary procedures.
Coordinate and collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process to provide required documentation and clarification.
Utilize ERP software systems such as SAP and Oracle Financials to streamline accounting processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial information.
Support management in financial planning, risk management, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring company adherence and updating policies accordingly.
Implement and continuously improve accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
