The Video Animator plays a pivotal role in transforming creative concepts into visually stunning animations, crucial for captivating our target audience and enhancing our brand's visual identity. This position involves producing high-quality animated content to support marketing campaigns, ensuring messages are effectively communicated and audience engagement is maximized. The Video Animator collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing managers, to deliver animations that align with our marketing objectives and elevate our brand.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Animation Production: Develop captivating animated content, including motion graphics, explainer videos, and interactive animations, in line with marketing goals and brand guidelines. Create storyboards and concept art to outline visual narratives and structure animations. Utilize animation software like Adobe After Effects to efficiently execute projects.
Creative Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives, messaging, and target audience, ensuring animations effectively convey desired messages. Collaborate with graphic designers, illustrators, and copywriters to seamlessly integrate animation into marketing materials such as advertisements, social media content, and email campaigns.
Project Management: Manage multiple animation projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Maintain a project repository, organizing digital assets for future reference and collaboration. Provide progress updates and actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions to enhance project outcomes.
Research and Development: Stay abreast of animation tools and trends, conducting research to identify innovative techniques and technologies applicable to marketing animations. Experiment with new animation styles, effects, and visual storytelling approaches to keep the brand's content fresh and engaging.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field. Equivalent certifications or diplomas may be considered.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional animation experience with a diverse portfolio showcasing various animation styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong artistic and storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and aesthetic sensibility.
- Proficiency in creating 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and character animation.
- Knowledge of animation principles, timing, pacing, and character movement.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of marketing and advertising principles is desirable.
- Fluency in English is a plus.
