Primary Responsibilities:
- Own system and feature quality throughout the development, testing, and deployment phases to ensure quality delivery expectations are met.
- Drive value and build to improve the quality of the team’s deliverables continuously.
- Conduct new technology research, proof of concept, and design work that will provide direction for the enhancement of the overall system and products.
- Contribute to software engineering best practices for design, coding standards, performance, security, delivery, maintainability, and culture.
- Demonstrate ownership of developed components from development through production.
Preferred qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience.
- Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries.
- 5+ years of experience in developing web applications using C#/Javascript/related tools/frameworks (both client-side and server-side) etc.
- Experience in ASP.NET MVC to maintain live application.
- Cloud and services experience, with AWS cloud experience highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a systematic and structured approach to software design
- Passion for building customer delighting experiences, and highly scalable, highly reliable services
- Experience with or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes.
